HackCDMX is an event intended to gather young talent focused on the world of technology in order to develop, in 48 hours, projects that contribute to improving the city.

The integration and electronic development, along with the industrial design of the device, allows the apparatus to register the distance travelled by each bicycle in every direction, making the information of its use available and to
schedule preventive maintenance, instead of having to perform corrective maintenance.

The project did not only focus on the development of the device, but also concentrated on a network of nodes, which could capture valuable data that could be analyzed and used to generate important information for city planning.

Awards:
HackCDMX. Hardware & infrastructure winner. 2015
Role: Research, Conceptualization, Design lead, Visualization, Prototyping
Team: Alfonso Martínez, Roberto Osorio
