Leopark is a mobility startup focused on offering parking solutions. As part of its services, we developed a physical product that allows one to open their garage door from their cell phone, from any part of the world, using an app.

Hardware exists in order to support software and vice versa. The Leopark Garage app enables the control of various garage doors from a cell phone. The app was designed to be a hub where you can control what happens in your garage when you open the app with a physical device that we also developed.

The main screen was developed in such a way that with just a single button the app could perform its principal function, implementing a tracking system that prevents it from being activated by a mistaken click. A restriction was also implemented using software based in geolocation which allows the system to be activated or turned off according to your location

Showing the registry and the system’s users without interfering with the main function of the app was a challenge that we were able to resolve thanks to the support from the development team.

Its development included a conceptual phase of its functions, trials, development of hardware and software, production and marketing of the product.
Not only was there a focus on fabricating a device, but also creating a digital experience, connected to a physical object connected to the cloud.
50 units were sold that continue in operation today.

Role: Research, Conceptualization, Design lead, 3D modeling, Visualization, Prototyping
